I’ve been coming to this shop for over a year now and it’s hands down the best pet store around. They always have an awesome array of new reptiles and plenty of other cool reptiles. Laz usually helps me out, I actually go out of my way to find him lol. super knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about snakes. You can tell he actually cares about the animals and takes the time to answer questions, not just sell you something. If you’re into reptiles or just want to check out something new, this is definitely the spot.

My and I get our fish here all the time. It is our favorite spot. My son has been around fish all his life and knows too much about fish and loves his fish.

Omg the staff member Laz was an amazing help with my bearded dragon I rescued. Laz help with him shedding two -three layers of skin. He looked so bad in the first picture the second picture is how he looks now. He still needs a lot more of TLC but ima tell you Laz is the best guy. This shop is amazing as well the care the employees give to the animals is phenomenal. Thank you so much for everything.

Helpful staff,very nice selection of fish for my granddaughters aquarium and not over priced. Looks to be family owned which I'll support over commercial stores every time as long as service is good,priced fair and critters are kept well. Check them out!

I have been dealing with Brian, the owner, for some 20yrs.Bought my first bearded dragon from him.Izzy lived happily for 11yrs.Bought 5 chameleons, Veiled and Jackson, plus all types of fish. Never had a problem except the ones I created. Care sheets weren't so common back then. If they don't have it, he will get it,at a decent price.Employees are also great.

I love this store. I moved here from Chicago in August and have been able to get my animals food more affordably and the owner is always willing to help find or buy a product for you if he doesn’t have it himself. I’ve also bought two bunnies from them and they were very helpful with teaching me the correct ways to care for them.

Discount Pets is a very friendly and nicely stocked store, where you are almost always greeted when entering the door. The staff are close by if needed, but not hovering over you. They are patient with any questions that you have or no matter how long it may take you to select a specific fish/animal/product. Speaking of fish, if you see a couple of them that didn’t make it after shipment, you need to realize that when dealing in quantity, that sadly happens. That doesn’t mean that all the fish are bad! I’ve had nothing but great fish from this place, but did ask what happens if one dies. They said in that case they would want to get a sample of my water. I’m sure that you would want to start there first, before assuming that it was just a sick fish. If you know that your water is fine, then you can go from there. If it needs attention, now you know. I had a tank a while back and didn’t realize how bad the water quality had become until testing it, because I had lost a few new fish while my old fish survived. I’m assuming that my original fish had become acclimated to the poor conditions, but after fixing everything, they seemed to be healthier and possibly more colorful! I then felt confident to add more fish to the tank. Anyways, great store, great service and great selections! You will like their prices too!

Just bought my first reptile from this store yesterday and have to say Laz is the phenomenal when it comes to knowledge and making you feel at ease with the animal I had traded my bp for a good deal on a pastel bp and I have to say nobody would ahve sold me that snake like Laz did so hats off to that man. I’ve also been coming to this store for snake feedings for almost a year now and the staff is the most laidback people I’ve ever seen handle animals,something messes up or something needs to be done they do it no questions asked and I love to see that for these animals Pastel bp is in the photo.
